The Raven: Forest Background

This is something for my visual development class! We had to choose a story from Grimm's fairy tales, choose a certain art style and do some background painting work on it based on a setting of our choosing. I chose the Raven story (no not Edgar Allan Poe's version haha) and I wanted to depict the first scene where the two protagonists meet each other. The characters are actually not designed yet, so these two are mainly placeholders to show scale. :'D
